Digital keys are one of the most exciting features in the CLS Capability package. The digital key is an app for your smartphone that can be used to unlock and start your car, as well as lock it and turn it off when you don't need it anymore.
When driving at low speeds and the system detects a collision, it can automatically apply the brakes to avoid or mitigate an impact. You can disable this feature if you choose, but it's smart enough to keep itself enabled when you're on the highway.
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLS is equipped with a lane-keep assist system that helps you stay in your lane. If the vehicle senses that it's drifting out of its lane, it will warn you with a series of audible beeps and a message on the dashboard display. If you do not return the vehicle to its proper position, it will gently steer back into position for you.
