2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC vs 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC

Proudly Serving Fort Mitchell, KY

The Mercedes-Benz GLC is a favorite of drivers and industry experts alike, earning recognition as one of the best luxury compact SUVs for families. For 2018, the brand introduces two new performance-oriented AMG® models. Here’s how these high-octane GLC trims stack up to the models offered for 2017.

Performance

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC is available with either a four-cylinder engine that gets 241 horsepower or a V6 that produces 362 horses. For 2018, the crossover retains these options and adds a V8 that pushes out 469 horses in the standard model and an incredible 503 hp if you opt for the coupe.

Appearance

The new top-level AMG® trim looks the same as the other 2017 and 2018 models and comes in both the standard SUV and the distinctive touring coupe body style. Both model years are equipped with synthetic leather upholstery and can comfortably seat up to five passengers. You’ll have more than 17 cubic feet of cargo space with SUV, which expands to more than 56 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat (49.4 cubic feet if you choose the coupe).

Features

All GLC models for 2017 and 2018 come with standard driver assistance features, including a rearview camera, crosswind assistance, forward collision alert, emergency braking, driver drowsiness monitoring, and a pre-collision system that rolls up the windows and tightens seatbelts in the event of an impending crash. Other standard GLC features for both 2017 and 2018 include a power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory settings, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth®**, HD radio, and two USB ports.
